stephenpthomas@livejournal.com BioEnglish guy, currently resident in East Anglia. Born a depressing long time ago in the Midlands, had normal (thankfully!) upbringing. Went to Uni, liked it, got a degree, then a PhD, then became a lecturer. When I got bored with that, I became a software engineer. Have flitted around Britain quite a bit (Derbyshire->Staffordshire->Kent->Nottingham->High Wycombe->Ely->Glasgow->Ely).

My main hobby is LARP. In the past I've played with The Cuckoo's Nest, a group in Glasgow. Now I play with Cambridge University Treasure Trap, and I also attend some Maelstrom events. In LARP-related IRC channels I tend to go by the name "Winterlove".
